Dogs Behaving Very Badly Luigi donates to Cariad - see video

We were delighted to receive a generous donation of £250 from Angharad Smiriglia, raised through two community events in the village of Abergwili, Carmarthen.

The fundraising efforts included a Christmas Bingo held at the Wheatsheaf Pub and a special viewing party at the Black Ox Pub to celebrate the television debut of Angharad's Labradoodle, Luigi, who appeared on Channel 5's Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly (Series 8, Episode 9).

Luigi walks has been walking on his hind legs and has been jumping, and can get anxious with traffic out on walks.

Angharad, who works as a Children's Physiotherapist at Glangwili Hospital, regularly encounters therapy dogs during her work and sees first-hand the joy they bring to patients, families and staff.

Inspired by the support therapy dogs make, she chose to raise funds for Cariad Pet Therapy.

In her message to us, Angharad said she was "touched by the value and joy they and their owners bring to the patients and staff" and wanted to use their "naughty dog's story into something that would be of benefit to others."

We are incredibly grateful to Angharad, her husband Paul, Luigi, and everyone who supported the fundraising events.
